We are happy to announce that Dr. Christine Venema will again be joining us this summer! Dr. Venema is an an expert in food safety from MSU extension. All demonstrations take place in the "White Tent" greenhouse along the edge of the east parking lot. There is no cost to attend. Class is limited to 70 and is first come first serve.
Dr. Venema will also be checking pressure canners at each event. If you have a dial gauge pressure canner, it should be checked every year.
